If you’ve ever been at a TA Appliance store and saw a Panasonic Chef cooking, you’ve probably tried these delicious Banana Fritters! They’re just so good that we just HAD to share the recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 2 very ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
Yield: 4 portions
Directions
- Heat a large pot to 180° using the Deep Fry cooking zone on the Panasonic Induction cooktop. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, bananas and vanilla. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just mixed.
- Gently drop heaping tablespoons of the batter into the hot oil. After 5 minutes the fritters will float to the surface. Flip the fritters so they fry evenly. Drain on paper towels until ready to serve.
