Blomberg’s Industry Exclusive
By Jeannie Sasaki, Marketing Director for Distinctive Appliances
Let’s be honest – we all lead busy lives. During the week we barely have enough time to prepare a meal and clean-up afterwards. Thank goodness for dishwashers, while they run their cycle we can use that time to spend with our families.
Have you ever noticed after a while when you open your dishwasher there is a funky odour? That’s because modern dishwashers require users to clean their filters. What? More cleaning??
Don’t panic, Blomberg Appliances has unveiled the industry
first self-cleaning dishwasher. Blomberg’s DWT59500 offers two options to make sure that your dishwasher is as clean as your dishes.
With one simple push of a button, Blomberg’s exclusive ProCare cycle will clean the interior of the dishwasher to avoid those nasty odours. Using hot water (heats up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit!) and regular detergent, the dishwasher’s spray arm blasts off any leftover dirt and grime on the walls and racks.
There is also a self-cleaning filter inside the machine that works similar to a garbage disposal. Turn it on and it will wash and grind away any particles stuck inside the filtration system. If something really big gets caught in there, you can still take the filter apart and clean it by hand.
In addition, the DWT59500SS has a unique half-size third rack that still offers room for tall items like wine glasses, as well as a quiet sound rating of just 42 dBA.
Check out the other main features this Blomberg dishwasher has to offer:
- High Quality Stainless Steel Interior
- 14 Place Settings
- Light indicator on floor and Interior LED Illumination
- Turbo Fan Drying System
- Energy Star Most Efficient 2016 Award
- Available in Stainless and Panel Ready
